Kathryn is founder and CEO of Decoded, a world-leader in technology education, delivering digital literacy and skills training for clients that span the Global 2000. She is on a mission to put the knowledge, tools and skills of the future in people’s hands, so that they can thrive in an increasingly technology driven world. In the past decade, Decoded has established itself as one of the world’s most preeminent technology educators for enterprise and government.

Described as an “economic force”, Kathryn has sat on the board of The UK Department for Business and advisory boards to Number Ten Downing Street, HM Treasury, The London Mayor and Royal United Services Institute.

In 2014, she campaigned successfully for coding to be introduced on the UK National Curriculum, making it one of the first countries to do so and introducing millions of children to computational thinking in the classroom. In recognition she awarded an MBE for Services to Education from Queen Elizabeth II.

Kathryn now lives in The Bay Area, California with her husband and son, frequently reporting back on innovations in AI and emerging trends in Silicon Valley for The Times of London.
